Attendance for this event was by advance ticket sales only, and the event was SOLD OUT!
Guests enjoyed food and our wines in this celebration in memory of George Madzia, who passed away from melanoma in November of 2002.
Tickets included a dinner of chicken, baked potato, salad, wine cake, and one glass of wine of your choice. Soft drinks, coffee, and water were also included. There were raffle drawings for prizes and a 50-50 raffle. Thanks to everyone who donated the raffle prizes!
Proceeds from the event, a total of $3,327.00, were donated to The Melanoma Research Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support medical RESEARCH for finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma; to EDUCATE patients and physicians about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of melanoma; to act as an ADVOCATE for the melanoma community to raise the awareness of this disease and the need for a cure.

A most sincere and heartfelt thank you to all who attended the fund-raiser for the Melanoma Research Foundation at the fabulous Black Sheep Vineyard on Saturday, September 12th! Your support means so very much to us as we work to find a cure for one of many deadly cancers.
The weather was wonderful, the food was wonderful, the venue was wonderful, the music was wonderful, but most of all, you, all of our friends, are wonderful!!!
